Brian and I have been to Germany a few times, but the
most wild experience I had in Germany was in the summer of 1991 when the
Little League team from the youth center on base went to the Little League
European Championship. I accompanied 14 twelve year olds and four coaches
to Germany on this crazy adventure. My sister was staying with me in England
at the time and was able to go along to keep me company. We drove from England
to Germany with hopes of winning the European World Series so we could be
off to Williamsport, VA. That didn't happen, but it was an exciting trip.
