Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

I waited until Christmas break to write the letter.  It is difficult to celebrate any sort of personal accomplishment when so many are suffering from the quake & tsunami in South Asia.  This year we have been more aware of how fortunate we are to have a roof, food, jobs, and healthy family and friends.  We thank God to have so many caring people in our lives.

In 2004 we lived in a construction zone.  Everything was completed by this December. Short of ordering some furniture, God willing, we will never remodel again.  You can see the start to finish photos on our construction web site linked above.  Brian is still working for Advent Software, as an IT Manager.  Having a computer savvy person in the house is awesome.  It is like having 24 hour tech support.  He is a good sport about all the computer work he does for me and everyone we know.  I love to use technology but don't often know how to fix it.  Jennifer is still a camp director, school psychologist, and university professor.  Camp is still the most fun but teaching adults in graduate school is also very rewarding.  She teaches in the Bay Area and Honolulu campuses.  We have continued to go to Orlando a few times a year to visit our friends, the West Family.  This year we went to Disney World for the Christmas celebrations.  2005 will bring us back to Chicago for Jennifer's sister's wedding.  Veronica got engaged at Thanksgiving and is planning a Fall wedding.  Last May we went back to Chicago for Veronica's graduation from Loyola University. She received her Masters degree in education. Of greatest consequence has been the change in our church home.  We loved our old church, First Presbyterian Church of Berkeley but since we were no longer involved in the youth ministry, we decided it was time to find a church community closer to home.  Willow Spring Church of Moraga is now where we call home.  It is a small but growing church.  Brian has been playing the drums with the worship team and he also runs the soundboard.  We miss all our First Pres friends and know this is where God has called us.

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.    1 Thes 5:16-18

Part of the Bradley Clan:  Pat, his girlfriend Maricel, and Toby - home for Christmas.  Missing in this photo is Jackie (the mom), Erin & Dave, and Casey & Mike.  The Bradley's are our West Coast Family.

Brian and Pat's dog Isshe.  Brian is experiencing dog withdrawal since Bermuda left. Isshe is a sweet, lovable great dane.
