2008 begins my 17th year in the summer camp industry - my 14th summer with Strawberry Canyon Youth Programs.  I worked briefly with the Positive Coaching Alliance at Stanford University but I missed the direct interaction with the kids during the summer.  Strawberry Canyon is part of the Department of Recreational Sports at UC Berkeley.    Here are some camp photos.

Speaker, Trainer, Consultant
I am on the faculty at UC Berkeley and Argosy University in California and Honolulu but have recently decreased my teaching load.  I do some speaking for parks and recreation organizations, conferences, and Charthouse with the Fish! For Schools program.  It challenges me to present material in exciting and engaging formats.  I have spent too much time in boring classrooms and awful workshops.  My web page www.jennselke.com has a list of my recommended books, the topics I speak on, etc.

Youth Ministry
My husband and I were high school youth advisors with First Presbyterian Church in Berkeley, CA.  We are currently on hiatus and now attend Willow Spring Church.  We were previously affiliated with Malachi Ministries.  More photos here.

Licensed Educational Psychologist
I work part time during the school year as a school psychologist at Iron Hrose Middle School

PictureBaseball Cards
I used to be over the edge crazy with collecting baseball cards. Some collecting gene was triggored.  Fortunately my priorities have shifted and most of my collection is at still with my parents in Chicago.  Visit my friend's site www.themeck.com  & www.preciouspaper.com/

Travel
Recently, my jobs have afforded me the opportunity to travel more.  See the Places I've Been page for updates.
